President Donald Trump signed the Phase One Agreement with Vice Premier Liu He of China at the White House on January 15, 2020.

Goods in List 4B will not be sanctioned at all.  Goods in List 4A will be reduced from 15% to 7.5% effective 30 days from January 15, 2020 according to a statement made by a U.S. government official at a press conference, however, this will only become official until it is published by the United States Representative in the Federal Register.   The sanction duties for List 1, 2, and 3 remain in place at 25% for the time being and perhaps until a Phase Two agreement is reached.
