Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) Update

President Trump signed a Proclamation on October 30, 2020 that affects eligibility under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) as follows:

Benefits to certain products from Thailand have been removed effective December 30, 2020, 12:01 AM. 

Benefits to parboiled rice (HTS 1006.30.10) for all GSP beneficiary developing countries (BDCs) have been removed effective November 1, 2020, 12:01 am. 

Benefits to Fresh-cut roses (HTS 0603.11.00) for all GSP beneficiary developing countries (BDCs) have been added effective November 1, 2020, 12:01 am.

Benefits to six products from Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Indonesia have been removed.
