The United States Trade Representative (USTR) will publish in the Federal Register the First Product Exclusion Group of commodities and classifications for List # 2 under the China Section 301 sanctions. Benefits will be retroactive to August 23, 2018 which is the date when List # 2 was made effective. For details, please refer to the attachment.
Product exclusions granted by the USTR are good for one year from the date of publication in the Federal Register.
Customers that can benefit from this new product exclusion group will be contacted individually to discuss their retroactive claim filing options.
